The tablet runs out of battery. The book doesn't.

Forty printable activity pages built for the places where children get restless — the back seat, the departure gate, the restaurant table, the waiting room. Print it once before you leave, put it in a folder with a pencil, and hand over one page at a time.

Every activity in here was drawn from scratch. The mazes are real mazes with one correct route through, the word searches have properly placed words, and there is a full answer key at the back so you are not squinting at a grid trying to work it out yourself.

What's included

  • 5 mazes — from a gentle warm-up to a genuine challenge
  • 4 word searches — on the road, at the airport, animals, at the beach
  • 4 dot-to-dots — rocket, sailboat, fish and aeroplane
  • Tracing practice — numbers 0–9 and letters A–L
  • Counting, patterns and odd-one-out pages
  • Games to play together — noughts and crosses, dots and boxes, two travel bingo cards
  • I-spy checklists and a scavenger hunt
  • Draw-it-yourself pages — finish the picture, drawing prompts, a story to fill in
  • 2-page answer key for the grown-up

Who it's for

Ages 4 to 8. The book is deliberately built so one copy works across that whole range — a four-year-old will head for the dot-to-dots, tracing and bingo, while a seven or eight-year-old will go straight to the mazes and word searches. Useful for road trips, flights, train journeys, restaurant waits, school holidays, homeschool quiet time, and rainy afternoons.

A note on gifting

Print and staple it into a booklet, add a pack of crayons, and it becomes a genuinely useful gift for a birthday, a long-haul flight, or a friend travelling with small children. Because the file is yours forever, you can print a fresh copy for every child and every trip.

How it works

  1. Buy and download the PDF instantly — no waiting, no shipping.
  2. Print at home on plain 8.5 × 11in paper. It also prints on A4 using "Fit to page".
  3. Print in black and white if you like — nothing in the book depends on colour.
  4. Reprint any time, for as long as you like.
Is this a physical product?

No. This is a digital PDF download. Nothing is posted to you. You receive the file immediately after payment and print it yourself at home or at a print shop.

What size paper do I need?

The pages are set up for US Letter (8.5 × 11in). If you use A4 — standard across India, the UK and Europe — simply choose "Fit to page" in your printer settings and everything scales cleanly.

Do I need to print in colour?

No. Every activity was drawn to work in plain black and white, so you can save ink. Colour printing looks nice but changes nothing about how the activities work.

Can I print it more than once?

Yes. The file is yours to keep and reprint as often as you want — for a second child, a second trip, or when the first copy gets covered in crayon.

Can I use this in my classroom?

Yes, for a single classroom. Please don't resell or redistribute the file itself — small independent stores rely on that goodwill.
