The Organic Traffic & Product Revenue Tracker gives digital creators an editable eight-tab XLSX system with blank and completed workbooks, practical PDF guides and an original worked example. Use it as an organic marketing tracker for Google Sheets import or compatible local XLSX software.

Compare manually exported records from Google, Pinterest, YouTube and email while keeping Other and Unknown sources visible. Choose either first touch or last touch, match product refunds to their original orders and review the included monthly totals. No live analytics connection is required.

What you receive

One customer ZIP with exactly eight files:

  • Blank_Workbook.xlsx and Completed_Workbook.xlsx, each with eight tabs and one hundred prepared rows per input table.
  • Four-page START_HERE.pdf with the file map, tools, six steps and first task.
  • Four-page Google_Sheets_Setup.pdf with import, grain, formula and verification instructions.
  • Ten-page Worked_Example.pdf explaining source records, attribution, order counting, refund timing and reconciliation.
  • LICENSE.txt, SUPPORT_AND_CHANGELOG.txt and FILE_MANIFEST.csv.

Eight tabs connect the records

  • Definitions: reporting currency, time zone, as-of date, month, one attribution lens and measurement meanings.
  • Products: stable product IDs, names, currency and source reference.
  • Content: product placements, canonical destinations and simple campaign-tagged links.
  • Visits: exclusive product-landing session buckets with source and extraction dates.
  • Orders: unique order-product aggregates, allocated discounts and separate first/last evidence.
  • Refunds: dated product-only allocations joined to original orders and products.
  • Attribution Notes: observed labels, affected records and source limits.
  • Monthly Summary: included visits, distinct overall orders, product revenue, channel chart and visible input issues.

Follow a complete synthetic example

The completed workbook contains four fictional products, eight content placements, twenty visit rows, twenty order-product records, five product-refund allocations and twenty attribution notes. September shows 845 recorded landing sessions, 17 unique orders, INR 20,000 gross product value, INR 300 allocated discounts and INR 500 product refunds, leaving INR 19,200 net product revenue. These are original teaching records, not actual waohhARTZ sales or a performance promise.

A multi-product order counts once overall. A refund from an August sale reduces September on its September refund date. Switching the example to October shows a negative INR 75 refund-only month. First-touch and last-touch channel allocations differ while preserving the same total; missing evidence stays Unknown.

How to use the files

  1. Set one currency, time zone, month, as-of date and attribution lens.
  2. Register your products and permitted content destinations with stable IDs.
  3. Enter non-overlapping landing-session records with matching definitions.
  4. Enter each unique order-product aggregate and its actual supporting evidence.
  5. Allocate product refunds to their original order/product pair and refund date.
  6. Correct input issues and reconcile the result against matching source controls.

Keep the measurement meaning clear

Net product revenue here is recorded quantity times price less product discounts and product refunds. It excludes costs, tax, shipping, fees, duties, payouts and chargebacks, and does not calculate profit or cash flow. Product-specific order counts can overlap across products; do not add them to infer unique overall orders.

The visits table uses product-landing sessions, not pin clicks, video views, impressions or unique people. Visit channel and order-credit scope are separate, so the tracker does not infer a conversion rate. Google organic records are identified through source evidence, without a separate AI Mode or AI Overview claim. First and last touch are observed labels you enter, not a reconstructed customer journey.

Tools compatibility and access

Use compatible XLSX software and a PDF reader. A local LibreOffice route and Google Sheets import instructions are provided; Google web tools need your own account and internet. No hosted Google Sheet, Canva Template link, paid AI, macro, add-on, automatic analytics sync or automatic publishing is supplied. Example.com destinations are non-live teaching placeholders.

110 local workbook assertions and separate LibreOffice recalculation were performed. Native Google Sheets/Excel, intended-device extraction, a fresh-user session and real purchase/download remain separate checks. Preserve original source exports and confirm definitions, month, currency and time zone before interpreting a working copy.

Who this tracker fits

Creators comparing organic and owned-channel records from manual exports. It extends a broader finance or content workflow with product-level source attribution and refund timing. For income, expenses, profit and cash flow, see the separate Small Business Finance Dashboard. For broader publishing plans, see the Digital Product Content Campaign Calendar. Those are separate products.

Questions before buying

Which files are included in the Organic Traffic & Product Revenue Tracker?

One eight-file ZIP contains blank and completed eight-tab XLSX workbooks, a four-page START HERE PDF, a four-page Google Sheets setup PDF, a ten-page worked-example PDF, licence, support/changelog TXT and CSV file manifest. No Canva Template or hosted Google Sheet is required.

How do I track organic visits and product revenue in a spreadsheet?

Set the reporting currency, time zone, month and one attribution lens. Register products and content links, add source-defined landing-session rows, enter unique order-product aggregates, and allocate product-only refunds to their original orders. Correct input issues and reconcile the monthly totals with matching source records.

What are the eight tracker tabs?

Definitions holds controls and measurement meanings. Products registers stable IDs and currency. Content records placements and simple destinations. Visits records exclusive product-landing session buckets. Orders holds order-product records. Refunds joins product reductions to original orders. Attribution Notes retains source limits. Monthly Summary compares included visits, unique orders and product revenue.

Can I use the tracker with free tools or Google Sheets?

The supplied files are XLSX and PDF. Compatible local software such as LibreOffice and a PDF reader are sufficient. Import instructions are included for your own Google Sheets account; no hosted Sheet is supplied. Local workbook assertions and separate LibreOffice recalculation were performed. Native Google Sheets and Excel checks remain separate. No paid AI subscription, macro or add-on is required.

How are first-touch and last-touch attribution kept separate?

Choose one lens in Definitions. Earliest observed and latest observed channels are separate evidence inputs for the same order. The summary assigns revenue and its product refunds using the selected lens. Switching lenses changes channel allocations while preserving the total. Never add the two views. This is a manual observed-source record, not GA4 data-driven attribution.

What happens when I do not know the source of an order?

Keep Unknown. A recognized channel without its supporting evidence also calculates as Unknown. The tracker retains that amount in the total instead of silently assigning it to Google or another channel. Attribution Notes gives you space to retain the original label, affected record and reason for uncertainty.

How are multi-product orders and partial refunds handled?

Use one order-product aggregate per unique order and product, combining repeated units before entry. Multi-product rows must agree on the order date and attribution channels. The overall order count is distinct, while product-specific order counts can overlap. Refund rows match an original order and product, use their refund date, and cannot cumulatively exceed its original after-discount product amount.

Does net product revenue mean profit, payouts or total Shopify sales?

No. This tracker uses recorded quantity times unit price less allocated product discounts and recorded product refunds. It excludes costs, taxes, shipping, fees, duties, payouts and chargebacks. It does not reproduce every Shopify sales-reversal event or an accounting report. Refund-date reporting can produce negative net product revenue in a month with refunds and no new sales.

Does the example show real sales or connect to Google, Pinterest, YouTube and email?

No. The completed workbook uses original synthetic teaching records: four products, eight placements, twenty visit rows, twenty order-product records, five product-refund allocations and twenty attribution notes. Its September example shows 845 landing sessions, 17 unique orders and INR 19,200 net product revenue. These are not actual waohhARTZ results. The tracker has no live account connection or campaign activation.

Can the tracker identify Google AI Mode or calculate a visit conversion rate?

No. Google is an evidence-based organic-source bucket with no AI Mode or AI Overview isolation claim. Visit channel and order attribution can have different scopes and identities, so the workbook does not infer a conversion rate or prove that a visit caused a sale. Do not combine sessions, outbound clicks and impressions.

Can I use my completed work commercially and get support?

One purchaser may adapt the toolkit for their own business and finished client work, subject to rights in added source material. Do not redistribute or resell the reusable toolkit. Supplied-file support is through the purchase platform or waohhartz@gmail.com. Custom integrations, campaign management and lifetime updates are not included.
