The cards cover four size setups, actual size and Fit, small pages on larger paper, one-page placement, size comparison, ruler checks, margins, trimming, paper and colour, two-sided printing, troubleshooting and support. The four one-page planner PDFs provide a practical printing exercise with 50 mm and 1 inch calibration lines.
A completed size-and-scaling example
The six-page worked example places a 148 × 210 mm A5 planner on A4 paper at 100%, then compares it with a deliberately enlarged Fit simulation. Assuming a hypothetical printable area with 12.7 mm margins, Fit scales that source to approximately 124.73%. The example explains why a neat-looking page can still have the wrong finished dimensions.
The comparison uses actual source PDF content and calculated digital placements. It includes a print-and-measure task and a two-printer test record. Physical ruler measurements and margin checks on two printers or print services have not been completed. The supplied pages do not claim a passed physical print test.
How to use the files in six steps
- Extract the ZIP and read the worked example.
- Identify the exact size files in the printable product you sell.
- Adapt the guide with your filenames, finished dimensions and tested settings.
- Customise the cards and remove unsupported sizes or features.
- Test physical output, margins and your customer editing route.
- Export finished instructions and check every page and link.
Tools, accounts and limits
Use a ZIP extractor, PDF reader and compatible DOCX editor. The DOCX was rendered and checked in LibreOffice. Native Google Docs layout has not been tested. A printer or print service and physical ruler are needed for output checks. Desktop is the documented setup route; mobile print workflows need separate device testing.
The additional PPTX contains editable card text and tables for compatible presentation editors or Canva import. A native 16-page Canva master has been created. A one-click Canva customer template-copy link is not included in the current package. Clean Canva Free duplication, all-text editing and watermark-free export remain unverified. Canva_Access.pdf explains the current import route and limits.
The A4 US Letter printable size guide also covers A5 and half-letter, which have different finished dimensions. The four planner PDFs are single-page practice samples. They contain no crop marks, two-up imposition or duplex planner. Borderless output depends on the printer and paper; no universal borderless result is promised.
Who this kit fits
For printable sellers receiving paper-size, scaling and cropping questions from beginner customers. Use the print at actual size instructions and adaptable printable buyer instruction card text beside your own tested files. If you need to design a planner itself or create print-shop production artwork with bleed and crop marks, this instructions toolkit has a different scope.

Can I edit them using free tools?
The DOCX layout was checked in LibreOffice. The additional PPTX provides editable card sources for compatible editors or Canva import. Native Google Docs layout and a clean Canva Free customer-copy/edit/export workflow have not been verified. Check any paid assets or features you add.
How do I start with the printable printing instructions template?
Read 00_START_HERE.pdf and Worked_Example.pdf, then open the matching sample planner PDF. Follow the six-step print checklist and measure the physical calibration line. Adapt the guide and relevant cards to one printable product you sell.
Does the ZIP contain editable files or access links?
The guide is editable DOCX and the 16 cards are supplied in an editable PPTX as an additional source/import option. PDFs provide reading references and correctly sized practice pages. Canva_Access.pdf explains the current route. No one-click Canva customer-copy link or merchant original-edit URL is included.
Can I use my completed work commercially?
One purchasing business may give finished customised instructions and card exports to its customers or clients alongside its own printable products or services. Keep the editable source toolkit within your business. Standalone source-toolkit resale, PLR and MRR rights are excluded. Read LICENSE.txt.
What support and updates are included?
Contact WAOHHARTZ through waohhartz.com for missing supplied files, damaged downloads or opening problems. Include filename, application and exact error with private details removed. Custom design, printer repair, account recovery and shop administration are outside supplied-file support. No lifetime-update service is promised.
