Build a short course that connects learning goals, practice and useful feedback. The WAOHHARTZ Mini-Course Lesson & Student Workbook Builder gives educators and digital creators 18 editable Canva learner-page layouts, a six-step workflow and focused prompts for planning a small self-paced course for adult learners.

Start with an observable learner task, then connect each objective to its teaching, activity, evidence and review criteria. Use the layouts to organise your original subject content, guided practice, independent tasks, knowledge checks and final project. The completed smartphone-photo example shows how those decisions fit together.

What you receive

  • 18 editable learner-page layouts in Canva, prepared in A4 and US Letter editions for your own course content.
  • An 18-page PDF design preview showing the layout set before you edit online.
  • An 8-page AI Workflow PDF with six creation steps, an objective-to-activity alignment method and a manual route.
  • 18 focused prompts in TXT format for scope, objectives, lesson sequence, practice, answer guidance, rubrics and release checks.
  • A 12-page Worked Example PDF for a three-lesson smartphone-photo course with activities, illustrative comparison images, answer features and a final-project rubric.
  • A 4-page Start Here PDF, Canva access guide, licence, support and changelog text, and a CSV manifest.

The download is organised as nine customer files: five PDFs, three TXT files and one CSV. Editable design access is online in Canva. The preview PDF is a reference and does not replace the online editable designs.

Layouts for the complete learner route

The set includes a course cover, setup page, three-lesson route, starting-point reflection, lesson goals, demonstrations, guided and independent practice, comparison pages, knowledge checks, a small experiment, final project, project review, answer guidance and next-practice planning.

These are reusable page structures with intentional text and photo placeholders. Replace them with your own verified subject content and permissioned visuals. The kit helps you organise a course; it does not supply finished lessons for every topic.

Keep the objective and activity connected

The alignment method asks six practical questions: what action will the learner perform, what teaching supports it, what will they practise, what evidence will they keep, what criteria will you review and what feedback helps them try again?

Use the same questions to find gaps. A lesson may explain a topic while its worksheet asks for unrelated reflection. A knowledge question may need answer guidance that your teaching does not yet support. The workflow helps you identify those mismatches before sharing your course.

Follow a three-lesson example

The example course, Everyday Object Photos, moves through framing an ordinary object, observing two lighting situations and reviewing a final image. Each lesson has a visible objective, practice evidence and review criteria. A final project brings the three objectives together.

Four mug photographs illustrate framing and lighting comparisons. They are clearly labelled AI-created illustrations, rather than actual phone captures or a controlled test. Sample notes and feedback demonstrate the review method and do not claim observed learner outcomes. Your learners create and record their own work.

How to use the kit

  1. Define one adult learner task and a realistic course scope.
  2. Map objectives to teaching, activities, evidence and feedback.
  3. Build your learner pages in your own Canva copy.
  4. Write verified answer guidance and project criteria.
  5. Try the tasks, review actual work and revise unclear instructions.
  6. Inspect your final export and prepare accurate delivery instructions.

Tools, access and limits

You need a Canva account and internet access to edit the online layouts, plus a PDF reader and ZIP extractor for the downloaded files. Use your own subject knowledge, images and sources. Adding third-party assets or paid Canva elements may introduce separate permissions or plan requirements.

AI assistance is optional. Use the TXT prompts manually with your chosen compatible tool, or complete the workflow yourself. AI accounts and subscriptions are not supplied. Human subject review and judgement remain part of the process.

This is a course-creation toolkit, with no course hosting, video lessons, automatic grading, certification, accreditation or guaranteed learning results included.

Use and support

You may create your own original completed courses and workbooks for business or client work, including commercial use. You may not redistribute or resell the raw layouts, prompts, supplied photo illustrations or worked example as a competing pack. No PLR or MRR rights are included. Read LICENSE.txt for full terms. Frequently asked questions

What is included in the Mini-Course Builder?

The nine-file ZIP includes access to 18 editable Canva learner-page layouts in both A4 and US Letter, an 18-page PDF preview, a six-step workflow, 18 TXT prompts and a three-lesson smartphone-photo worked example. Quickstart, Canva access, licence, support notes and a CSV manifest are included.

How do I edit the student workbook layouts?

Extract the ZIP and open 01_Templates/Canva_Access.pdf. Choose the A4 or US Letter link and make a separate copy in your own Canva account. Online editing requires a Canva account and internet access. The preview PDF is a reading reference, not a fully editable offline replacement.

Do I need a paid AI subscription?

No. AI assistance is optional, and the workflow can be followed manually using your own verified subject knowledge. Any AI account or subscription you choose is separate. Canva assets or fonts you add can introduce their own permissions or plan requirements.

Does the kit contain finished lessons for every subject?

No. It supplies reusable page structures and a completed Everyday Object Photos example for adult beginners. Replace the intentional placeholders with your own accurate teaching, activities and permissioned visuals. The example photos are AI-created illustrations; sample feedback does not claim observed learner results.

How does the objective-to-activity method work?

For each lesson, connect an observable learner action to the teaching, practice, evidence, review criteria and useful feedback. Use the alignment map to identify an activity that does not support its objective or answer guidance that the lesson does not yet explain. Try your own tasks before sharing the course.

Are course hosting, videos or automatic grading included?

No. This is a lesson-planning and student-workbook creation kit. Course hosting, video lessons, automatic grading, certification and accreditation are not supplied. Inspect your final export and set up the delivery route you choose.

How do I open the download, and will a physical item arrive?

Download the ZIP supplied with your purchase, extract the folder and start with 00_START_HERE.pdf. Read the worked example before making a working copy. This is a digital file kit; no physical item is supplied.

Can I use the kit for my business or client work?

Yes. Use the supplied methods and files to create your own original completed products or client work under LICENSE.txt. Add your own substantive content and review. You may not redistribute or resell the raw toolkit, reusable templates, prompts or supplied examples. No PLR or MRR rights are included.

Where can I ask about a supplied file?

Email waohhartz@gmail.com with the product title, filename, page and a brief description of the issue. Include the app or browser you are using and a screenshot if helpful. Do not send passwords or confidential account information.
